How we work
BothView News puts the news in one place: what Republicans are saying, what Democrats are saying, and what the public record shows. We don't tell you who is right. We show you everything you need to decide.
Each side gets the same number of cards, the same size, in the same spot on the page. The red column and the blue column never differ in length.
We quote speakers directly, keep quotes short and exact, and link to the original statement so you can read all of it.
No editorials on the front page. Opinion, when we run it, is labeled and kept in its own section.
When we get something wrong, the fix goes at the top of the story with the date it was made. We don't quietly edit.
Every claim from either party gets the same test, and one of these labels.
